In Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square, a big screen showed the faces of the four female soldiers released on Saturday. “There has been a bittersweet reaction here,” said FRANCE 24 correspondent Mark Owen, live from the scene. The ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel has hit its first impasse in what is already a “delicate situation”. Israel on Saturday said a female civilian hostage named Arbel Yehoud was supposed to be released, while Hamas has held Israel responsible for delaying the planned return of hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians to northern Gaza.
