Former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann has been accused of motor vehicle theft.

The 29-year-old is listed for a plea hearing before Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

Mr Lehrmann has been charged with ‘motor vehicle stealing’ and is due to appear before Magistrate Reg Marron from 9:30am.

It is alleged he stole a Toyota Prado from a property in the Huon Valley area in Tasmania’s south on November 20 last year, reported news.com.au.

Sydney lawyer Zali Burrows, who was seen with Mr Lehrmann in Hobart in October, is reportedly representing him and will appear via video from NSW.

He did not enter a plea and the matter was adjourned until June 19.
