Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has seemingly confirmed the end of her co-star’s time on the cobbles as they were seen reuniting during her maternity leave.

The actress, who is known for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, is currently taking a break from the drama in Weatherfield having recently welcomed her second child into the world.

Lucy announced in early January that she and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson had welcomed a baby. Their new bundle’s arrival came after they welcomed their son, Sonny, back in 2023.

Lucy and Ryan revealed their daughter, who they later revealed was named Nancy, had made her entrance into the world safe and sound on January 11, by sharing the first sweet picture of the newborn. “Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25,” the soap star confirmed alongside the post.

But now, Lucy has been reunited with at least one of her cobbles co-stars as she shared a ‘love letter’ to Charlotte Jordan. Corrie fans will know that Charlotte is set to leave the long-running soap after nearly five years of playing Daisy Midgeley.

The actress confirmed the news of her exit back in January and said in a statement at the time: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish.

“After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities. It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening (February 26), Lucy shared a black and white photo of herself and Charlotte. The pair were seen in a close embrace with their arms around one another as they looked towards the camera and smiled.

Captioning the post, the new mum-of-two penned: “a love letter 2 @charliejordanxo,” and fans were quick to respond, with some thinking it signalled the end of Charlotte’s time at Corrie.

@lucyandtinax said: “The best duo always.” @daisyxjessie commented: “You both are so gorgeous.” @daisyxjessie wrote: “It’s giving charlottes leaving party.”

@nicolarfan_1 replied: “We’re never going to get a Bethany Daisy scene again.” @dianne_joe_suggwell posted: “Love you two.” @ginacarpenito shared: “Gorgeous girls.” @heatherkeyte added: “I love these two divas.”
