The mum-of-three enjoyed a day at the races with her boyfriend after admitting to struggles at home with her children
Helen Flanagan looks loved up with her boyfriend Robbie Talbot despite admitting he had ‘moved out of her home’. The former Coronation Street actress, 34, who starred as Rosie Webster in the ITV soap for 12 years, shared pictures with her partner after making the candid admission about her family life.
It comes after Helen took to her Instagram on Friday (April 4) to share that she was attending the Grand National in what was a much-needed break away from her busy life as a mum-of-three.
Speaking on her Instagram story, she told her 1.1 million followers: “I’m going to the Grand National tomorrow, I’m so excited… I get a break. So the children go to Scott’s for half term, I literally can’t remember the last time I had a break, I think it was last half term so I’m really ready for it.
“I won’t have too long probably 5 or 6 days they’ll come back and it’ll be great”
Helen then admitted that her daughter Matilda had expressed that she wanted to spend ‘the whole of Easter with daddy’.
“I think that’s nice because she always talks about how she misses her daddy and stuff… I will miss Matilda but I think it’s nice for her to have that time with her dad,” she said.
On Sunday (April 6), Helen shared some photos from her time at the races, where she stunned in a pink and red floaty cape dress, which she paired with a gorgeous red hat.
Sharing a picture to her Instagram, Helen wrote: “Race day ready and feeling super chic in @karen_millen.”
Taking to her stories, the actress then shared some loved-up snaps with her partner Robbie. The pair could be seen cosying up together as Helen laughed whilst her boyfriend planted a kiss on her cheek.
It comes after Helen recently admitted that Robbie is no longer living with her. Speaking to The Sun, she admitted: “I don’t want to say I think this is forever, because it puts too much pressure on us.
“I’d asked him to stay for a while, because I often get quite scared in the house on my own and feel safer with a man there.”
But Helen then revealed that she wanted to prioritise her children’s feelings, as she admitted her daughter Matilda was still struggling with her parent’s break up.
The actress separated from footballer Scott Sinclair, 36, separated in 2022 after 13 years together.
“Matilda is very sensitive and a proper daddy’s girl, and she struggles with not seeing Scott as often as she’d like,” Helen admitted. “I always think about how she feels when she misses her dad, and having my boyfriend there maybe doesn’t help her.”
The family admission comes after Helen recently shared a recent update about living with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). She said “I always feel like I have four personalities in one month and any boyfriend I’ve ever had knows how bad my PMDD can be.
“The Luteal phase for me can be the very worst, I used to have very bad intense symptoms for about 10 days, severe depression, sadness, hopelessness, worthlessness, anxiety, OCD – OCD so crippling I thought I was going mad – exhaustion, brain fog. Now I get about 4 days before my period where I don’t feel myself mentally.”
