The strategy sets out Sir Sadiq’s ambition to create 150,000 new jobs, and includes a commitment to bolster so-called “industrial innovation corridors” in different parts of the capital. These include the WestTech Corridor between White City and Old Oak and Park Royal; the UK Innovation Corridor, stretching north from the King’s Cross ‘Knowledge Quarter’ and going out towards Cambridge; and the Thames Estuary, starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and going out towards Essex and Kent.
