Netanyahu thanks top US diplomat Rubio for 'unequivocal' backing on Gaza

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio began his first Middle East tour on Sunday with a meeting in Jerusalem with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. In a joint statement, Netanyahu and Rubio highlighted their countries’ “common strategy” to eliminate Hamas’s military and political role in Gaza and bring all of the remaining hostages back to Israel.
