China-based intelligent solution developer Neusoft has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese mapping company Zenrin to develop navigation products tailored to the Japanese market.

This partnership was announced during the Automotive World 2025 exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.

The collaboration will leverage the strengths and resources of both companies to meet the specific needs of Chinese automakers operating in Japan.

Neusoft noted that Japan holds a strategic position in its global R&D and delivery network, being a key market for its intelligent vehicle connectivity business.

Zenrin is engaged in comprehensive map data coverage throughout Japan.

In 2024, Neusoft launched its upgraded OneCoreGo Global In-Vehicle Intelligent Mobility Solutions 5.0 designed to offer seamless integration of standard navigation and custom solutions.

Through this partnership, Neusoft will leverage Zenrin’s expertise to improve navigation accuracy and real-time traffic updates.

The collaboration will focus on improving product capabilities and services for the Japanese market, addressing local user needs and pain points.

Neusoft’s software capabilities will support Chinese automakers as they expand into the Japanese market and contribute to the intelligent transformation of the automotive industry.

In a press statement, Neusoft said: “With the rapid development of emerging technologies and accelerating pace of globalization, China and Japan have engaged in more frequent and deeper interactions in the field of intelligent vehicle connectivity.

“As Chinese automakers are accelerating their steps going global, Neusoft remains steadfastly committed to fostering innovation and efficient collaboration.”

“Neusoft, Zenrin team up to develop navigation products for Japanese market” was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.
