Speaking at a press conference, Vance accused Denmark of under-investing in Greenland and neglecting both its people and its security infrastructure. “Why is Greenland so important? Countries like Russia and China, along with others, are showing a significant interest in the Arctic passageways, naval routes, and the minerals found in Arctic territories. We must ensure that America takes the lead in the Arctic,” said US Vice President JD Vance.
